I'll be interested to see what he does with this. I'm sticking with the early jets. My current one is a He 280 followed by something small and British.

My dad will start a Tamiya MiG15 in North Korean livery soon, in the near future a Hunter, most probably in Rhodesian colours. Maybe a Rhodesian Canberra and a Cuban T-33 will follow...

Painted the air intake FOD flaps with Vallejo Duraluminium (metalic)

Tried out how the intended dark camo colour Tamiya XF-18 Medium Blue looks next to the main camo colour (AK Real Color Air Superiority Blue).

Turned out it is too dark and greyish, gonna add some blue and white.

A little setback with the canopy....Hobby Boss molded 4 ejector? thingies onto the lower side frames, very thick connection, one already broke off in the box, the rest was removed by my dad. Due to the thickness parts of the frame were removed too. My dad tries now to fill the "bitemarks" with CA glue and sand the areas.

Can't believe there isn't more interest in this, your dad is a master, judging by his WW2 fighter builds. I have this as a future project, so I'm going to follow this. Nice to see it being built OOB
