Revell 1\600 USS Enterprise band full lighting kit

Time to boldly go where no kit has gone before I have never done anything like this before the lighting kit has to be built from the ground up that does mean building the circuit boards as well so cue burnt fingers and lot's of cursing and swearing so I hope my old soldering iron is up to it.
So I have two sets of instructions one for the kit and one for the lighting kit.And the lighting kitFirst thing to do is to paint a couple of coats of black to stop light bleed.And then a couple of coats of white paint to aid reflection.And then a light bleed test on the main saucer section.
