BushBrit66
All Looking to do a either a Netherlands campaign or Crete machine using the Special hobby 48th kit. Does anyone have any details around C&M. In Crete they seemed to have light upper wings but solid dare uppers. In Holland they seemed to be an overall pale colour. Anything new emerged? Cheers Sean

You mean the assault on Eben Emael? That's in Belgium ;-) (although it's less than a kilometer from the Dutch border). They have a DFS fuselage on display at the fortress museum, but the colours don't coincide with the wartime post-landing shots of the gliders, which indeed seem to be a pale colour overall (RLM 02? RLM 63?) and are devoid of any markings.

Wing camouflage looks way different from the other artwork though. And on the photo in the second link I cannot distinguish a clear camo pattern on the gliders..
