Tzulscha
Started this one more than a few years ago but it is finally finished. Here are a few shots as it went along: Cockpit tub or whatever you call it in a car. Added seatbelts and a few tiny little brackets. Photoetch from Scale Motorsports Looking forward. I DID dust it all off before I closed things up, honest! Still in mask but all the bit for the headliner are in place. (the yellow is just light reflection) Belly pan. The insulation is the foil off a cigarette packet. A light wash for contrast. It was meant to be black but when I thinned the ink out it was blue. Bugger. The kit went together VERY smoothly. I had no problems that I didn't create for myself. Paint was all rattlecan Tamiya lacquer. Front end with badges. The kit came with decals for all the markings. Not bad but the photoetch made a huge difference. The red GTi stripe is 1/64th striping tape Tail end. A little Tamiya clear red on the inside of the lenses was quite effective. and the nice chromey ScaleMotorSport badges. (I see one end of the tail panel popped loose but it settled back down when I glued the chassis in place.) With all the bits in place... With a nice scenic background, it looks pretty good yes? The only thing I really had a problem with was the driver figure. He came out all fat and dumpy. Oh and a bit spotty. The beard is a little ratty too. Oh well... Thanks for looking! Questions, criticisms and comments are all welcome! Q.

Spiny
Nice job on that, and I envy you being able to find your car to build. I think that's the first time I've seen this model of Golf built too - came out pretty well by the looks of it.
David Sandry
Nice, I really want a Mk4 (to make up as per the one I owned) but there doesn't seem to be any kits of it! Nice idea for the heatproof foiling.

bmwh548
Nice build. Have a look at the tires. I'm pretty sure you got them on backwards as they're V-shaped
Pete in Lincs
Groovy Golf. I like how you got the window wound down too. Later in the year I can probably get you a principal role in a Snow White pantomime.
