Focke Wulf Ta 183 in Argentinian colours

Recommended Posts

The Pulqui 2 shares its history to the Second World War's Emergency Fighter Program of the Third Reich. Led by Kurt Tank, Focke Wulf designed the Ta 183 anf made a wooden mock up of it, before abandoning the design. When WW2 ended, Tank fled to Argentina, and took with him the plans of the Ta 183.

The Pulqui 2 was Argentina's attempt at entering the jet age with a modern, swept wing fighter. Only four or five prototypes were produced when the coup d etat of 1955 happened. The new government decided to not produce the Pulqui 2, and decided to buy the F-86 (used) from the US.

As a what if, I bought Academy's reboxing of the Amtech Ta 183, and decided to make it as an Argentinian aircraft.

I inspired myself in the camouflage worn by the Mirage IIICJ in Argentina after thr 1982 conflict.
