These figures represent the modern day figures you see on aircraft carrier decks with the different coloured shirts denoting the jobs done by the crew, for example red are Ordnance crew members. There are 78 standing figures and 12 kneeling figures like those seen near the active catapults. They are printed in colour and the 3D effect is created by bending the two halves at the base to join together.
