Cliff7474
Is using plasticine a good idea for masking of areas or is this looking for trouble? I thought I’d ask before I try.
BIG X
I believe it is a 'no-no' - but I'll be beggared if I can remember why - maybe something to do with oils in it. I have tried various blu-tak / white-tak products from home label to branded and have settled on genuine blu-tak as the best thing that works for me - consistently. I hope that is of some help. I thought I’d ask before I try. I have just used blu-tack to do a hard edged camo scheme with no problems, just remove it as soon as possible to prevent it hardening and leaving any deposits, modern plasticine should be ok as long as you do the same, they were both £1 in my local pound shop so I bought the blu-tack. colin
Tend to use white tack as it leaves no residue behind
Cliff7474
Cheers, did think it might leave some kind of residue and be harder to remove.
