Thank you very much for you appreciation. And yes they did, nevertheless there was not much flying as the wind didn’t coöperate on the first day and on the second people probably didn’t came because of the heavy critisism on the event at Facebook .. Organisation wise it was a bit of an uncoordinated mess and that was a pitty, everything in communication was done via Facebook and i didn’t had a account.... But in the end i got where i came for but patience is the key😉 thankfully i didn’t see much rain during the event with the exeption for the night photoshoot as on that evening we encountered a massive storm front that ran over France, Belgium and the Netherlands.. No regrets for going over there..allready planned it two years up front to go to Normandy.... cheers, Jan
Alpha Delta 210
Great set, Jan! More photogenic than Duxford. I love the Hercules with stripes and chalk markings.

nuuumannn
Very nice indeed. I was at the event at Carpiquet on 7 June; a bit badly organised and the weather didn't help matters, but your photos do it justice. It was indeed a bit disorganised at certain points, i had the luck and patience to linger around as the missus didn’t objected in me being over there for two days...(got her trained well😉) Thank you all for the kind words👍 cheers, Jan
nuuumannn
When the rain started midway through the day, we went over to the terminal and got some coffee and snacks as the food outlets were pretty shabby on the field. It was a good vantage point for departing aircraft. Europe 85 Europe 86 1
