Magna Hawker Henley Target Tug TT-111

Recommended Posts

During the recent Trainer Group Build here on BM, I decided to build my Magna Hawker Henley. This is only the second Resin kit I have every built, but if you want to build a Henley, you only have this one or the Formaplane vacform.

This is the Work in Progress

Please let me know what you think

cheers Pat

Well, looking at the parts you had to work with (that first photo in the build log) I think you've wrested a good looking model out of them.

Resin, white metal and vac form are a force to be reckoned with when trying to beat them into submission - but I think you've done that.

Thanks very much Bob, really pleased you like it.

It's nice to build something a little different, gives you a chance to learn something new  !

Well done, I’ve had to abandon my Magna Models kit for the time being so I’ve some idea of what you’ve been up against

Please persevere with your build, every kit has low points but that just makes it all the more satisfying when you complete them.

Really pleased you like this one, hope it encourages you to finish yours.

Cheers Pat

Great result! I have the kit and occasionally open the box, shudder a bit/lot, close the box and put it back in the stash! You should be pleased with that one and I admire your perseverence!

Hi HG

I would encourage you to have a go, it looks unusual in a good way when it's finished.

A bit like a Hurricane that's had too many pies !

cheers Pat

Nice one, Pat :). Certainly it is unusual... just my cup of tea! ;), and in the gentleman's scale!

Thanks Martin

I really enjoyed making something a little bit different and of course anything other than 1/72 would be just plain rude !
