Revell 1:48 PBY Catalina

I have an old revell 1:48 scale PBY Catalina kit number 04520 from the mid 90s. I built it as a kid and I've decided to strip the paint dismantle it and start again using same method I used in a tamyia chieftain model 

 

 

 

Does anyone know if there are any after market photo etch or resin parts for this model? I'm also missing a couple of bits such a some clear canopies. Any ideas if these parts can be sourced aftermarket? .

www. squadron.com has some photo etch and a limited supply of resin parts. MOstly though for the Amphibious

version

Belcher Bits has some useful stuff.  This is their home page, specific links on the left.  One of the conversions is for the earlier variants without the blisters.

Also, note the Revell/Monogram kit has a tail that is just too wide and Belcher also has a tail piece available to fix that.

 

Vector make R-1830 engines that might be useful too.

Hannants list Eduard etch sets and 2 alternative resin engine sets. 

True Details do a resin cockpit

As the guys have said Belcher Bits do excellent resin and a new tail does improve the look though that might not bother you too much

Thanks for the replys major problem is the missing cockpit and nose canopies. Anyone know how I could either replace it scratch build these?
