NigelC
I'm in for this GB with the MPM Hudson, which according to a WIP thread I found here might be - ahem - "challenging" 🙂 Ah well, where's the fun in building easy kits?
John_W
It is a bit of a challenge. You need a shim in front of the windscreen to widen the fuselage and you need to trim the navigators table. Engines are a tricky fit as is the wing to fuselage joint. Most of the nice interior is invisible and although the door and dinghy stowage is separate, the door is moulded closed and needs to be drilled out if you use it. Strongly reccomends getting the Eduard masks as the turret and nose are pigs to mask. Mine narrowly avoided a flight in to the bin... Â
NigelC
Thanks John, Yours looks very decent. I think the discipline of working to a deadline might help me. Time will tell, of course!
CliffB
A nice choice John. I do like a classic Lockheed twin
Greg Law
Tip for masking difficult shapes like the turret is to use narrow strips of masking tape and fill in with a masking fluid.
