fatfingers
Aye up Joseph. Welcome to the dark side of modelling! Star Decals do a huge range of waterslide for various British and Canadian armour. Archer Fine Transfers also do waterslide and dry rub type. Check out Hannants and Historex Agents on line. Mainly 1/35th scale but also 1/48th and 1/72nd scale too. Regards Steve Edited June 13, 2019 by fatfingers

Foxbat
For a mostly one-stop solution try the Plastic Soldier Company. They do sets of markings for NW Europe, 1944-45 covering the main British, Canadian and Polish armoured divisions. Enough in a set to cover most vehicles from most sub-units (except the recce regiments GRRR!!!, You get the divisional signs, arm of service markings and the bridging plates but you'll need to source the white tac signs separately. Fortunately there's loads out there). They also do allied stars with a couple of styles and various sizes on a sheet. The only other thing you'll need is WD numbers but again, a quick Google will point you in the right direction. Richard Humm
There's a good series from Dan Taylor Modelworks, which usually have all the markings for specific vehicles.
Graham Boak
Mile Starmer does sets for Shermans which provide all you need for a range of variants.
