Nikolay Polyakov
Hello Britmodellers! 👏 Finally, I’m finished this excellent and well-detailed kit from Zvezda. I’m not planned to post the pictures in RFI and even the WIP sections, but it can be interesting for some of us. It’s not a Class A build... Let’s look! The starboard side: And the port side: The front view is good and the disadvantages is not so noticeable: Hats off: The other side: Zvezda provides us a very detailed engine compartment OOB: The main rotor is very detailed, too: The belly has a nice details, I like how it looks slightly weathered: Let’s take a closer look on the aft side: And the nose section: The navigation lights are from the clear parts. The starboard: And the port side: That’s all for now and there is a WIP thread, for those who interested: Thanks for looking! 🐈 Edited June 7, 2019 by Nikolay Polyakov Double-posted image.
Terry1954
Very nicely done indeed. Colouring and finish looks great and I especially like the way the green camouflage parts are represented. Looks pretty authentic to me. Zvezda are producing some pretty good models these days. May have to get myself a Hind sometime soon! Well done, great result. Alan P
If I'd built it, I'd call it Class A! Very well done, and your build thread was very informative. Alan

The suggested colors turned out very light in the end, next time I’d prefer to mix my own. Practice, practice, practice... 1 hour ago, Gary Brantley said: Lovely Hind Nicolay! Thanks, it’s always interesting to how it builds (I don’t know why)! That’s why I not so often visit an RFI section of our site... Silenoz
Looking good, may,be, just maybe, add the anti-icing strip to the main rotorblades... is metallic, but looks more brownish, will make them less dull...

spruecutter96
This "Crocodile" looks very good, my friend. It looks like Zvezda have put more / better detail on a 1/72nd kit than Trumpeter put on their 1/35th brute! Thanks for sharing with us. Yes, it’ll be great to see that kit in quarter scale - like Zvezda did it with their Pe-2. 42 minutes ago, F-32 said: Weather cool build, are you planning to add any weathering? No, I slightly weathered the belly and tail - I haven’t enough experience for that and, to be honest, not like a lot.

WARDOG
EXCELLENT work, Sir! I have this beautiful kit and will build it as a Sudanese bird as soon as I can get the decals and AKAN paints lined-up. Will probably build her closed-up (and put the extra parts in the spares box!) but I DO like what you've done on your kit. WARDOG

modelman182
Fantastic build and lovely finish, Nikolay. Enough 'class' for any of us to be proud of! Can't wait to see you do one as a Class A build! Kev

Sure thing - this kit is detailed enough, even for the 1:48 scale! Maybe a Kitty Hawk will do it?! 😋 7 hours ago, Ex-FAAWAFU said: Fabulous. Well done, Nikolay! Hello and thank you, CC! But something went wrong with the colors (the suggested ones are so bright) - I think I can get and try the AKAN paints (nice idea, @WARDOG) for the next Hinds... 3 hours ago, WARDOG said: EXCELLENT work, Sir!
