Bonhoff
Hi All, Initial plan was to backdate Tamiya's HMS Nelson to its 1944 fit when she bombarded the French coast just after D-Day - Unfortunately, it'll take too much work so I'll save her for another day. Keeping with the floaty thing theme though, I'll have a second go at Airfix's LCVP - This time in the RN multicolour scheme. Second go? I did one a couple of years back for the August Blitzbuild Here. A nice simple little kit which I can enjoy a second time and hopefully at a less frenetic pace... Robert Stuart
Plenty of room for floaty things here, your LCVP sounds like a good choice (pity about Nelson though, that would have been an admirable choice)
Bonhoff
Only just started this - Discovered that my kit wasn't in the shed part of the stash but up in the loft, quite frankly I CBA to go up there but fortunately found another one at the Coventry show last weekend. It's a quick little build so blink and you might just miss it! Box Shots Doing the RN version so quickly primed it, then airbrushed the external white parts with a Vallejo Offwhite shade. These will then be masked to spray the internals dark grey then added to this. All the major internals of the boat constructed and ready for paint. Please note that the bow door has 4 visble pin marks that require cleanup... KR's IanJ
Bonhoff
Basic hull built with internals painted dark grey. Hull given several coats of Vallejo Off White then masked for the Tamiya Blue Grey. The blue applied - mixed up using Tamiya paints and masking then removed. KR'S IanJ

dnl42
Nice work! I especially like the camouflage scheme! Sigh, wish there was a 1/48 kit.
