tomprobert
Afternoon folks Here's Airfix's classic Harrier GR3 from the venerable 1/24th scale kit, warts and all. Built as it comes, but with some home-made additions to the cockpit and seat. The Airfix decals and Xtracolour paints were used throughout. For its age, it's a really nice kit. The cockpit is very basic and the landing gear and bays are lacking in details, but with some good old-fashioned scratch-building you can make a decent representation of the Harrier. Happy modelling! Devilfish
I recently built this too, using resin intakes and a mix of resin and kit parts for the cockpit. I agree, it is a good kit for its age, and as I only paid £25 for mine, I'm happy.
Viking
Very nice Tom, it looks like a modern kit, not one that first came out 40+ years ago. Lovely camo finish on it too. Cheers John
Spitfire31
Very neat build and finish! As Viking remarked, doesn't look like an old kit at all. Takes a good modeller to achieve that! Kind regards, Joachim

Farmerboy
That really is top notch, to achieve such a quality finish on by modern standards a basic kit is a tribute to your modelling skills.
