The instructions also show the tanks as perpendicular to the ground, not the wings... On the plus side: new short inboard fins are included for the tip tanks. Jeffrey For me at least it's not a big issue either way. Most of the pictures I can find of F-104As show them without the underwing tanks/pylons fitted and even if I wanted to fit them I can't see altering the angle of the pylon being all that difficult to do?

I'm not a 1/48th guy, but this CF-104 looks so good I'll be giving it a go as soon as that kit starts shipping. I suppose I should learn how to use some metal effect paints before it gets here. PattheCat
Thanks for the news @Homebee. I have Printscale instrument decals for the IP and Eduard "steel" seatbelts but this set from Quinta is very tempting.

Scimitar F1
This is a great marketing strategy. I now have 4 Kinetic F-104s without even realising when I checked. This must be at least the 10th boxing to date including the Ammo/MIG version. Will 2

Ah, that would have been nice, wouldn't it? The only early B/D canopy I currently have is a vac piece from the RVHP resin conversion kit. And it has a bubble/flat spot in it... Of course C-1 seats would be needed though. J

But it is marked F-104A/TF-104 why not avoid confusion and put F-104A/TF-104G (2 in 1) so there is no confusion of what's in the box.
