Eduardo Soler
On Martlet Mk IV, the seatbelt was like the first Wildcats ( only one, wide on the belly of the pilot) or did it have the belts on the shoulders?
72modeler
Eduardo, See the link to Tommy Thomason's Tailhook Topics that discusses Wildcat lap and shoulder harnesses; I don't recall off the top of my head if the USN harness fitted was replaced by a Sutton type or not, but I bet @Troy Smith will know! It does appear that a Mk IV would have had shoulder belts, regardless of which type was installed. Hope this helps. http://tailspintopics.blogspot.com/2015/
85sqn
I'd put money on it being a British style 4 point harness (Sutton)
