Andy Moore
This is Bandai's little 1/144 Striker, from the U-Wing/TIE box set. It's designed along the same lines as their Vehicle Model series, with only a few parts and no clear moulding for the canopy, but it's still highly detailed, being essentially a scaled-down version of the 72nd kit. I finished this one in a scheme heavily influenced by the red TIE Interceptors used by the Royal Guard in various EU comics. Paint was my usual steel-over-black recipe for the panels, while the red was Gunze red over Gunze russet. Thanks for looking Andy 26

Steve Coombs
The Kilrathi demand to know who stole their Dralthi I plans. And they'll be having a stern word with the Cylons afterwards. Seriously, that's a smart bit of modelling there.

Dralthis are round though Nice one Andy, the red really suits it - very menacing. Cheers, Will

Bugle07
Very smart little Red (Dwarf) Striker there! Excellent paintwork. On that note, wonder if you could call it a Tie Smeg fighter? Geoff 1 1

Corsairfoxfouruncle
Wow she looks good in Red. ... Ive been thinking of doing a group of 4 Tie fighters in red with slightly different patterns on the vertical wings? Of course it will take me a while to gather up the four models so don't look for it anytime soon.

It sounds like a great idea. I always love seeing Star Wars ships in custom schemes. On 30/05/2019 at 06:26, Mindmax said: Hi Andy, This looks phantastic! Do you think you'll ever do a 1/10 TIE to go with the Snowspeeders? 1

A 1/10 Tie would be great. I really have thought about that but hesitate because I have no idea how to replicate and build all these parts. Especially the round cockpit and the wings plated with cool shade or fridge material seems very complicated to me. The Snowspeeder was much easier I think.
