Reini78
#14/2019 Tamiya M kit, Aztec decals, Eduard seatbelts, EZ Line for the antenna wire, MRP White Aluminium for the NMF. All nose trim, wing and fuselage stripes are painted. Although Aztec provides decals for all the outlines, my dad decided to paint them too. Build thread here https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235053258-aztec-warrior148-republic-p-47d-thunderbolt-fuerza-aerea-mexicana/ The model shows an aircraft of the 201st Fighter Squadron of the Mexican Airforce shortly after WW2. The unit was established during the war and fought alongside the USAAF in the Pacific. The 201st is still an active duty unit, using Pilatus PC-7. Tbolt
Excellent work, especially on the cowl painting as I never look forward to doing curved masking with pin striping.

Robert_
I really like this, what a wonderful clean finish. A rare scheme that is maybe the nicest I’ve seen on a P47. Bravo

72modeler
Can't add to what the others have said except to add my complete agreement! Seldom, if ever seen one in these markings, but the 201st FS had some very good pilots who were highly regarded by their USAAF counterparts, as were the Jug pilots of the Brazilian AF! Well done, sir! Mike
