magpie1832
Many thanks. Yes it does in this shot. I couldn't afford the proper shapeways ones lol. I have now done the weathering and fitted them. I will do the prop shafts and props today the onto the many guns around the ship so it will be a slow process. Jasper dog
26 tiny Oerlikons...tremendous tiny workmanship! This will look superb when finished I'm sure. How was the fit of the wooden deck? Apologies if I've missed it earlier but it really enhances the model. Great work Darryl Edited June 21, 2020 by Jasper dog
magpie1832
Thanks for looking in. The deck was a great fit. only a couple of bits needed adjusting but generally very good. I have done Rangefinders and the other radar antenna. I have made one Pom Pom. 7 more to go. Chris 7

Jasper dog
Looking really good, would it be correct to assume the first of the little boat pics is with and without the etch detail/cabin? Really impressive boat, makes me want to dig one out.... Atb Darryl
magpie1832
Thank you all for looking in and your nice comments. @Jasper dog Yes the picture is one of the kit version and one with the PE added. @RGL Your build is very well made. You did an excellent job. I have done the 2 cranes and the masts. Just the railings and the 7 PomPoms still to do. Nearly there now.
