Thanks to everyone for the comments and encouragement, and to Adrian for material assistance that prevented this build ending up on the Shelf of Doom. I think I'm all done with trainer yellow for a while, despite still having five trainers in the stash. I reckon the next kit I build will be something from a more modern manufacturer where I don't need to scratch build so much of it! I just totted up the remaining British trainers in the stash. I’ve managed to get a pair of the new tool Airfix Toger Moth, the Pavla Master I, an Avro Tutor and a De Havilland Dragon Rapide. There's rather a surfeit of biplanes in there. Perhaps that’s an idea for a future group build! (I didn’t say that.
