Grey Beema
21 hours ago, tonyot said: Sorry to hear about that mate. The Eduard Lib kits can be found for around £60 ish, which includes the book etc,....if you look in the right places,..... both boxings provide the parts to build a Mk.V or one of the later variants with the nose turret,..... also Eduard sell overtrees which are quite cheap. Here is a link to the later variant, I got mine from here; https://mjwmodels.co.uk/edk2123-172-consolidated-gr-mkvi--viii-liberator-riders-in-the-sky-1945-6598-p.asp Cheers, Tony Thanks Tony, but I never knew him, I'm far to young.... Although I will buy at some time I still think £60 for a 1/72 kit a bit steep but as I say, one day. I am recovering from a period out of work with no income so modelling purchases are ruled out for a little while longer. I have on the bench a stalled Martlet IV that I need to buy decals for, a stalled Mosquito NFXIII that I need to buy a thimble nose for, and I need to buy a Seafire III to take part in the D-Day GB. I also want to procure the new 1/24 Hellcat from Airfix - I have plans for that... So the Lib will take a back seat for a while longer...
