1/72 p-51 a propeller

Thanks for the quick response. I did think of that but I also need the spinner. For some reason my academy kit was sans spinner. I should have said that to start with but the resin parts come with the spinner.

 

The P-40 has a pointier spinner, so would it be straightforward to fashion it. I’ve never worked with resin.

Honestly, I would just get a length of birch dowel, chuck it in an electric drill and sand it down to shape. 

If you're looking for something to make a template out of, to check the fit, there's a usable drawing here - just photocopy it down to 1/72
