In MiG-21PFM "PFM" stands for abbreviation as variant - Perechvatcik Frontovoi Modernizirovaniy or on English - Interceptor Front-line Modernized, so it's interceptor from birth! Although according to modern concepts, it probably should be attributed to air superiority fighters, as I think. B.R. Serge 2

Dam!!! big is the understatement here!!! Though many years ago I did come across a 1/18th or larger full resin Me-262 in Singapore (think it may have even been 1/12th!). Don't know how made it and haven't been able to find out anything about it since. Know it was really expensive....gosh I now really wish I had bought it!! 1

You would have had to have bought an extra seat on the aircraft to bring it home mate, if it was resin !

Erwin
A question for the hosts: This GB is for certain types of planes(interceptors). Not an era or ToO. How much can I differ from an actual paint sheme ? But still within the idea of the GB. I plan to build the 1/18 th Hobby Boss Me 262. But I want to paint it without actual prove that it ever flew in that paintsheme. But still very German-style. Let's call it "The pilot's choice" Edited June 7, 2020 by Erwin

MiGFan79
Hi, definitely some interest here, lots in the stash that could work, from both sides of the Cold War. quick query - would a two seat Lightning (T4/T5) be acceptable? Used for training but same combat capability as a single seater as far as I’m aware. thanks!
FortyEighter
Having just received the decals, I'll definitely be entering a 23 Sqn Javelin (and also have the decals for a 23 Sqn Lightning). You might spot a possible theme that will continue in the Tornado and MTO (and possibly BofB) group builds! Mike 1

Given that the T4 and T5 versions were capable of performing the interceptor role they are indeed eligible 17 hours ago, FortyEighter said: Having just received the decals, I'll definitely be entering a 23 Sqn Javelin (and also have the decals for a 23 Sqn Lightning).
