Brad
Building a model for a friend and he's asked for a gun turret to be put in the back. Does anyone out there make A/M ones in 1/72? I have googled but turned up nothing.
Graham Boak
What aircraft? Falcon do after market canopy sets which include Lancaster, Stirling, Halifax, B-24 and others. Some of the Falcon canopies are available as single sets from Squadron.
Work In Progress
True, though that only gets you the glazing so you would need to cobble together some other source for the base or the guns. What sort of turret does it need to be? Tail? in which case you might get away with a nose turret, they were interchangeable in some cases) or rearward mounted mid/upper? Put a "wanted" up in the appropriate forum. Your best best is finding some left over bits from someone's scrapped model, or something like a Lancaster mid-upper not needed when building a Dambuster or Tallboy / Grand Slam carrier, or possibly a nose hurret off a Stirling or an early Halifax that someone's converted to a streamlined nose fairing version. Also what is the general design ethic of the (presumably fantasy / what-if type) you are building? British? German? American? Other?
Mark Harmsworth
Try a search for 'turrets' in 'All Aircraft Accessories' at Hannants. The first one in the results is this: https://www.hannants.co.uk/product/ARACA7272
