The best in 1/72 would be the Dragon (DML) offering, but it can be a bear to build.

Been trying to find one for ages but only ones available are the hobbyboss quick build or the lindberg travesty

They’re available on eBay if you’re willing to shell out $35 for one.

Now that is a fine Amiesenbär!

Tamiyas kit is just wunderbar to stick togetherm wuth excellent fit all over.

RLM02 in the bomb bay makes a lot of sense, so from my perspective you made the right choice.

While I'm here. I don't suppose anyone has the Do 335 night fighter conversion kit in some dusty dark corner?

I would really like to do one.

I'm forced to slow down now. I have to wait for the masks to arrive. Hopefully next week.

Yeah, I was dreaming... well sort of... it was the 1/32 HKM kit I was recalling.

Seeing as the Luftwaffe was putting panzerschreck (spelling) under the wings of trainers a bomb seems quite as likely.. :)

  • 2 weeks later...

Just so you don't think this project has gone on to the shelf of doom. I have been waiting for the masks that I now think belong to one of my senior moments. I think I thought about getting it and didn't do it. My only excuse is I was buying a lot of stuff at the time. I have ordered them today, so the project should be back on track within ten days.

1/ Make a list.

2/ Tick off items as they are accomplished.

3/ Keep the list somewhere safe.

4/ Make a note of where that safe place is.

5/ Keep that note in your sock drawer (you remember where that is, right?)

Works for me.

Oh, nice choice of Aeroplane, Mister.

My main problem is I have to remember to make a list....

  • 1 month later...

I'm going to be back on this project on Sunday after I complete the two Me 262's which almost drove me mad yesterday..

It seems I did order the masks it just took a long time to get to me. Now I have two sets. I'm looking forward to getting  back to this easy build.
