JohnHaa
Dear modellers, Back to long times ago; WWI. A british plane with a dutch designer, Frits Koolhoven... And no, this is not the Copperstate Model Kit, that came out much later. I hope you enjoy the pictures, encore...:-) Kind greetings 31

I`ve always liked this type but didn`t know it was designed by Koolhaven,....... now you`ve told me it seems obvious,..... it just looks like one of his!!! To say this is scratch built makes it even more special,..... great build, Cheers Tony

Bandsaw Steve
That’s awesome, Just awesome! 😄👍 Congratulations and highest compliments to your work. I think I have some insight into what’s involved with making something like this as I am in the middle of scratch building a 1/32 Avro 504 (in the WIP pages now) but I think my efforts are going to look pretty basic beside this masterpiece. Is this one carved? vac- formed? Plastic card? Do you have any WIP threads for us mortals to learn from?

JohnHaa
Thank you all for the kind and encouraging comments ! How I build my models; well have a look at my topic of the Fokker Super Universal. There I included some pictures of the building process. I use all kinds of material, plastic sheet: mostly 0,5 - 2,00 mm , plain wood with a decent even grain ( nowadays still harder to find) ...Balsa wood and I are no good friends! 🤨.. so I use sprue For clear parts I use DVD boxes and for canopies I vacuform them from all kinds of packing material. And of course selfadhesive aluminium tabe. Excellent stuff ! I have several modells I like to show you in future, I will try to include some steps in the construction. Till next time and I hope you enjoy my topics, With kind greetings, JohnHaa
