Ah, yes another Tempest 🙂

Picked this up at Telford, started it almost as I was driving home (well stuck in traffic) but didn't finish it till recently.  Finally got the camera out and took a few shots.

Only thing I did was to modify the spinner to close up the gaps based on the build the General did elsewhere on this site, otherwise as it came in the box.  Lovely kit.  Roll on the Mk II.

A superb looking Tempest.  It captures the powerful, purposeful look of the type beautifully.  Great paint finish and just the right amount of weathering.  I hope Eduard will scale this kit down.  About time we had a state of the art V, II and VI in 1/72.

Lovely! Very nice finish, it looks the business.  Amending the prop hole chasms really does enhance the look.

Cheers!

I just love late war British props, there is something about the lines that just makes them appealing.  And you have done an excellent job on this one.  Thanks for sharing.

Very nice build and finish

Just a pity Eduard got the spinner and chin cooling radiator complete wrong, especially as they had the info already from special hobby
