LaurieS
Huey captured in the Falkland Conflict by the British from the Argentinian. It was an Argentinian Red Cross Helicopter. Very bad condition paintwork. Not copied the depth of condition . However photos darn it, make it look cleaner than the effects that I applied. Bit of artistic licence. British emulsion over painted, in the Falklands, the Argentinian Livery. I have half painted out the tail & behind the big doors to give the illusion of the change of hands. Kitty Hawk first for me & a very fine kit. http:// 60

Meatbox8
Looks great. Didn't know about this aircraft. Must brush up on my Falklands War history, especially having just read Viulcan 607. Very nice photography too with a highly appropriate backdrop.

Selwyn
Nice vignette! love the way you have pulled out the rivet detail. Selwyn (It only became G HUEY when it got back to the UK by the way!)
tonyot
Very nice model of an aircraft that I remember seeing,...... great subject! I would query the Airfix figures though as they are much later than 1982 and carry the SA-80 rifle,....... which was not in service then, it was the longer and much better SLR. Cheers, Tony

Plus the AE413 was hand painted on so I cheated again. There you go I am a rogue awful ! 🙄 Laurie

Jonners
Nice one. I'm sure that I remember seeing G-HUEY on the airshow circuir in the late 1980s with, IIRC, multi-coloured paint striping.

How it got to this state no idea as it was in one of the museums. http://
