Want to see an arctic cock ?? F-94C Starfire

Recommended Posts

That is a superb result from Kitty Hawk's first kit (I think it was). The Starfire was also an interesting aircraft, sort of an F-80 on steroids as it were 😊

Lovely result. I have not seen this kit but guess it was an early Kitty Hawk kit? Every KH kit I have built or seen are a problem to build so well done! Great scheme.

Cheers

Hello Malcolm,

Early or seemingly the first one,

They tried to do something good, but there are a lot of poorly managed would be solutions....

I say would be since it's more a problem than a solution..

Example, the very thin actuators on HUGE sprue....

And this orange skin plastic....

Well thank you Gents !!

More cold war shiny birds to come !!

Sincerely.

Hello Cousin,

Fletchers are on their way your castle !!

If that doesn't work out I have a spare pair of F-80 tanks.

Thank you Fox !!

I still have a pair of Fletcher tanks....

Sooooo, I can have as many tanks as I need.

But IMHO the F-80 did'nt carry Fletcher tanks very oftenly.

In Korea, they mainly used the Misawa tanks.

Tnank you for the kind words !

Sincerely.

Lovely build and finish - there’s just something about arctic colours. Can’t tell you how relieved I was to click on a post that included ‘Arctic Cock’ and find an F-94 popping up!

Hello Spad !

Really glad that you enjoyed it ! you know me now, always popping from where nobody was waiting for me...:penguin:

The next cold war one will surely be a F-84, but now a -F or a -E

I don't know myself !!

I concentrate on my 2 Rocs for the while, SMW is ticking more loudly for my asthmatic snail pace...
