1/48 Eduard Spitfire LF IX c

Hi guys,

 

here is my latest build, the excellent Eduard Spitifire Mk IX in 1/48. I've choosen that camo beacause i wanted to test the AK Xtrem metal.

Wow.  A real stunner.  The metal finish is absolutely brilliant.  Weathering is terrific too.  I've been thinking about building this aircraft for a while (in 1/72).  Having seen your model I think I'm going to have to build it!

I didn't varnish the bare metal but maybe i will try the AK gauzy agent next time to be abble to use washes diluted with white spirit.

The weathering is made with airbrush and with felt tip pens.

Masterclass Spitfire!

Paint, weathering and detail are all excellent., but the thing is that it all comes together so naturally with nothing standing out more than the other.
