Great result on a not too easy kit CC, really nice work

Hello Russ !

Happy birthday my friend !! Have a good Blue Chimay on my behalf !

Thank for the kind words !!

My Korean serie is growin'up !! Next one is a Spitfire Mk 24 or my long lasting F3D....

Or may be playin' in your backyard with F4-B or the O-1.... Who know ??

Love this one. That's a plane I'm not too familiar with.

Hello Johnny !

Thank you Sir, I'm used to "Not too familiar aircraft or painting"

And I can say that here on BM, what is unusual IS usual !!

Welcome aboard Man !!

CC, getting ready to embark on my Special Hobby Mk I, HMS Triumph 1950 Korea in a different camouflage scheme.  I love the way the open canopy rockets look;  I note that yours were out of the box. Do you know if anyone makes after market rockets specifically for Firefly? Thank you again for posting this impressive triumph of modeling art.

Hello 28Z,

Open canopy and rockets are mostly made from scratch

If I remember well, the rockets came from the Airfix Sea fury boxing.

I liked the old TSS camo, but my second Firefly Mk I will bear this camouflage !!

So, Have fun with your, TSS camo and Korean war stripes will surely be an eye catcher !!

Sincerely.

CC

Hello Corsair,

Thanks for posting your Firefly MK1 on this forum.

It looks fantastic and that goes also for your photographs.

I would not worry in regards to your paint scheme. I think "Real Time"these aircraft looked a lot worse.

They were worked, weather permitted, around the clock in the most harsh conditions.

Regards, Orion
