1/72 Arma Hobby Fokker E.V

What a great little kit! This is the "expert" version with PE. Small in size but BIG in fun! I had a blast puttimg this together. The included decals (by Cartograph) were fantastic and made the lozenge camo easy. I used oil paints for the streaked camo on the wing...not 100% hapy with it but good enough I suppose. That`s a great looking model! How did you create the streak effect on the wings?

Thats really nice, I like it a lot. I have one on the go and need to get a move on I think. Quite like the streaking effect... something I have to do for my chosen one from the 'Junior' edition.

Thank you! First, I painted the wing a tan color to replicate the color of plywood. Then, I brushed on oil paints after wetting the wing with white spirits. After the first color was applied, I sprayed Tamiya X22 to seal it then on to the next color.

Those colours look absolutely right, compared to Dan- San Abbott’s research- the colour pigments are still made in Germany. What paints did you use for the upper colours?
