stevehnz
First time I've looked in on this for a long while & look what I find. I've just had a wee wander thru the last couple of pages, some super work going on there Johnny, way beyond my meagre skills ( & storage) though. Steve. The Spadgent
Good afternoon folks. More hurri work this week. 🙌 huzzah. First up the unpainted became the painted , top coated and floried. good enough for the bottom of the engine bay. As @CedB would say. ahem. What’s this? A dead one of these. 🤣 sorry. Always wanted to go there. Many way, as you can see in the first pic the wings have been glued on and are drying. The box makes a great jig. The wing roots needed filling. Not too much mind. I used to use wooden coffee stirrers but since running out I bought these. £1 in the sale and brilliant for smoothing PPP into seams. How did I do without this in my life?🤣 some more filling at the back. and bottom. The nose needed a little too but the fit was surprisingly good. I left her for the night to dry. Looking beautiful. Next day the leading edges needed sanding, here we are half way in left done right to do. oh I popped the nose on for fun too. I like the BIG conk. 🤥🤗 Also after deciding not to fit the panels I added little rings of lead to all the pop panel holders. looks better than just holes. Sanding almost done I need to get ready for primer. these gun panels fit well so after some tidy up I can mask with them. 🤗 the nose got masked within an inch of its life. And all the wheel wells and other little holes got stuffed with sponge. 🤞😀 This is where she got left. Fingers crossed for more before the weekend. Thanks for dropping in. take care y’all and as always. Happy Modelling. Johnny.

Has anyone else heard of a tamiya thinner shortage? X20a 250ml. None about any where???? Madness I tells ya. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
