New member from New Zealand

Greetings all,

 

I'm a new modeler to the forums anyway, joined in 2018 only got around to posting this now, after selling our house and preparing to move back to the U.K.

 

I have been doing this hobby since I was 8 (42 years) 50 now, and I'm still learning. I build all sorts of models, but mainly the military, be it ships, tanks, planes, etc...WW2 is my favorite genre. Currently building the Takom 1/35 King Tiger with Henschel Turret, zimmerit and full interior.

Was born there, dragged kicking and screaming to NZ when I was 4, fell in love with the place but it's time to move back

Hello Chris... from Chicago USA. I started at the same age but I'm slightly younger at 47. Mostly aircraft from WW2 & the Cold war with some armor.
