PROPELLER
Thank you gentlemen! To Jeroen, adjustments must be done outside and inside... Second door, done: Don't ask next! Dan.

The end result looks great but I can understand that they are difficult to make, with the shape they should be. Nice work as always!
harveyb258
Adjusted perfectly, too. I doff my cap in your direction, Dan. Next....?????
Jo NZ
Dan it occurred to me that the Fiat tyres that you used might fit Bloody Mary. What size are they? (Full size, not scale. I’m looking for 3.25 and 4.00 x 19, at 80% section) Thanks Jo
PROPELLER
Well, to the little jokers, next? I don't know! But I have maybe an idea... Jo, front and rear tires are not the same size. Front I can read 875x105, rear 875x135. Mine, on the Voisin, are rear ones. I don' really understand the 80%... May be this sketch will be useful: Note: Front ones looks like bicycle tire... I bought first, before find black ones, two sets of white (not very cheap), thinking to paint them... If you are interested (50% off) PM me... It seems Bloody Mary have not the same tire size front and rear. Correct? Dan.
Jo NZ
Dan, thank you for measuring them! It's late at night, I am still (I think) OK to calculate sizes... 72 mm is the rim size, which in 1/8 scale is 576mm =22.67in. so a little too big for Mary at 19in. You are correct, the tyres are different sizes front and rear. The 80% refers to the section of the tyre - like a 245R50 or 215R65 - it's the ratio of height to width (in these cases 50% or 65%). All older crossply tyres with no designation were (I think) 80% as tall as they were wide. My tyre markings are of course in Imperial measurements (inches). At school I was totally confused. I started learning in feet and inches (and pounds-feet, BHP, BTU, slugs, poundals etc.) and then in c.g.i. (centimetres, grams, dynes) and after that in SI ( Metres. kg and Joules). One of my jobs involved using pressure tranducers. We had similar looking digital instruments that displayed variously in mm Hg, inches of Hg, millibars, hectoPascals, Newton/mm2 and kN/m2. I got quite good at converting them mentally, although it almost drove me to drink!
PROPELLER
Tires for mad scratch builders are always trouble. My choice for new model is firstly tires! Some make their own ones... I hate the smelling and dirty material to do that! Good luck Jo in imperial measures or metric! Dan.
PROPELLER
Hi guys! Doors, more and YEAH! the end... They made me crazy. Now, we can thinking about bonnet(s)... Who said bonnets? They are coming... Take care guys! Dan.

PROPELLER
Thank you very much Pascal, but it appears you have some skills too... Well, today bonnets or hoods? (Please let me know...), more but not the end! I'm going to do removable sides, no-opening... You can see the brass renfort: Why?, remember, fenders are on the hood sides... Help! Now I have to introduce my English Wheels... The small one: And the big one... That's all folks! Take care, Dan.
PROPELLER
Well, bonnet more or hood more? Nobody here to tell me? Remember, I'm a poor french, yes a froggie... Some setting are still needed, but I am on the good way! And for the functional system lovers: In fact I had no choice... Dan.

Roy vd M.
Glad to see the great progress in this topic since I last visited it. It seems you have managed to retain the extremely high quality of other builds as well as this one. Watching this work in progress makes me long for reprising my work on the Delage 15-S-8 I plan to do this summer, after finishing the Miniart bus. Oh yes, and: beautiful headlights!
PROPELLER
Thank you very much gentlemen, every time a pleasure... Roy, we are all waiting! Well, bonnets (Thanks Harvey) are now completed! Schwarz-Brot
And once again ingenious usage of tools. That last picture is pure gold. Your made-up tools are as interesting and educational as the building progress itself.
PROPELLER
Thank you very much SB for your kind words... Well, today windscreen, more and of course not the end. It will be chromed (Alclad) before the installing on the body... After fenders! But now metal work is achieved: But now it's achieved: You saw the horn? Without a lathe, no way... Roy vd M.
Windshield and horn are excellently represented. Dit you create a custom cutting tool for the horn?
PROPELLER
Kind words are always appreciated, thanks! To Roy, you can see the tool here: And you can find it here, in different sizes: https://www.chronos.ltd.uk/product/glanze-6-mm-profiling-tool/ Well, fenders in french are called "ailes", wings in english. Here, I think is the right term... Mine: Who said wings? Now, only to Swartz-Brot, the man who loves my caliper, here two calipers! But bare. For bending large pieces... More fenders will come, may be? Dan.
