NickD
Dan, Awesome as always. One of the fascinations for me is the way a high class build like this showcases the original engineering. It looks like it was an amazing machine. Thanks for sharing. Regards Nick

PROPELLER
Thanks gentlemen! The summer break? Fine, sea, sex and sun, lot of sun! Well, front axle completed: Next? Steering box... Dan.

PROPELLER
Thank you very much again gentlemen! And I, what can I say more? A challenge too... After jokes, as promised, steering box. A big one for a small car, look at that: So, a big one in 1/8 scale: Note the arm between the chassis and box... As usual, lathe, mill, soldering, and settings before paint. Well, next the engine! A big challenge, a real one! Dan.

PROPELLER
Harvey, the froggy says thanks! Well, ladies and gentlemen, the engine: Some parts of... before machining! First, the engine's cross bar: And some chips later... Of course, some (!) filing and sanding will come later! It's the first time for me, an engine entirely metallic. Wish me good luck... Pouln
Wonderful work, Dan and good luck with your completely metal build engine. You proved already to us that you are very skilled in all kind of machining jobs, so I’m sure it will work out great.
PROPELLER
Thank you very much gentlemen for your wishes! In fact I don't have any right to the error, I have only these pieces of metal! And of course, as anybody, mistakes are usual for me... And for more fun, gearbox and crankcase are only in one foundry piece! First, the global volumes: The brass rod for settings, you will understand with the next pic... The gearbox crossbar is not at it's place, but it works! All are on the same level, yeah! Go ahead! Dan.
PROPELLER
Engine, more but not the end. All main volumes are there, now just some(!) filing and sanding with lot of sweat, of course! Be careful, don't expect any internal pieces, it's just for the weight. Acrobatic clamping! My mini-mill is in limit capacity... Dan.

PROPELLER
Thank you friends! Always appreciated... Who said engine more? Some improvements, but not the end! In situ: And alone. All is always removable. No glue, only nuts and bolts... Some trick for the flanges, an usual nightmare... With a mill, it's easier! More soon, I hope...
