Recommended Posts

Dear fellow Britmodellers,

this is my 1/72 Tamiya Mosquito FB Mk.VI, built with Master metal gun barrels, CMK weapon bay and Eagle Cal decals.

Markings represent an aircraft of 418. Squadron in October 1944.

Painted with Gunze/Mr.Hobby acrylics.

All photographs by Wolfgang Rabel.

CMK weapon bay wasn't a good fit at all, being too short for the cut-out of the lower fuselage.

Another superb work of art from you Roman.  The gun bay certainly “dresses up” the venerable Mosquito and in my opinion, is a must have item.  The application of paint is flawless as we have come to know from you.

Simply perfect in every way possible!!!!! :worthy:

Also, Wolfgang`s photography continues to excel!!!!!! 👍

Nice Mosquito top job on the finish and weathering , however I think you may have put the code letters on the port side the wrong way round

should be TH- H not H-TH although I just know someone is going to prove me wrong 🙄

Hi My Friend Roman!!!

I was highly impressed with this build, and would say again Congratulations for this new Masterpiece added to your nice British birds collection!!!

This model is great but with the nice additions you made it better miles ahead…, I like the soft weathering spots and how you have worked the detail in the gun bay and undercarriage parts,  the paint and overall appearance are magnificent and without a doubt one of the very best builds you have showed us here…without a doubt a nice gem of a build. Keep on my friend, for sure you will have many more to show us later with the same building quality you use to show.

Thank you very much for sharing!!!

Cheers,

Luis Alfonso
