Ju 188A JE+HK 2/KG.6 Hasegawa 1/72

Recommended Posts

Hello modellers.

My last model is done.
Modest model and some hard work in the fittings parts. An old traditional Hasegawa 1/72 model.
I used Eduard photo etch interior and masks. Tamiya acrilic mixes.
I choose JE+HK 2/KG.6 version, found in Melsbroek, Belgium1944.

I hope you enjoy it.

Very nice work, and a super-attractive scheme!

Some Ju-188 really sported unusual paint jobs.

(I am currently working on the same model kit, but a different paint scheme.)

Thank you very much Roman;

I also really like these different camouflages.
After finishing, send us photos of this your next model.

Cheers!

I love that, the replacement wing really makes the model stand out. Great work. (I have just rediscovered my copy of this kit in the stash after having forgotten about it!).

That is one very unusual scheme, but you have pulled it off! You don't see very many Hasegawa Ju-88 or Ju-188 kits built, but they appear to be very, very nice, with few issues, from what I have read. Well done!

Gorgeous work!

Not your fault, but Hasegawa`s: The ailerons are wrong (due to a misinterpretation from photos). Dragon/DML did it correct with their 1/48 kit. From top (or bottom) view the trailing edges are "straight". The kink results from a change in the wing profile! There is a lot of very good photo evidence, e.g. in the Classic Publication book on the Ju 88.
