Apology:

EDIT:  If you are starting from scratch, Get the IL2-1946 DVD  or from GoG https://www.gog.com/game/il_2_sturmovik_1946 NOT a previous version under 4.07.  Versions under 4.07  and IL-2 Complete cant be modded from what I understand.  Do not buy complete.

The Hunter looks great to me.

I am curious to see what AMD comes up with in a few weeks/months.  I've also been looking into VR rigs, and I think that waiting is best course of action.  Upcoming CPU/GPU combinations with better lenses will transform flight sims even more I think.  A shame that IL-2 1946 is not supported, but perhaps one day?  Though head tracking is good.

Here is a diy for example.

And Lancasters. Kabooms at 10:23.  Okay, the game engine is old, but, I can still find DVD's on auction sites for reasonable.

The terrain looks very well done.

I am going to need a bigger SSD to go along with my new system when I build it.

They also have a clip only without the Camera

Should come in handy with a driving sim like F1 I think.

Edit: From the freetrack site Filter media for the camera especially in a bright room.

Fully exposed and developed photographic film - Three layers most effective.

Dark gel filters - Roscolux. Combine colours to block visible light.

Dark acrylic glass sheets - Plexiglas, Perspex etc.

Infrared photography filters- eg 720nm, 850nm cutoff.

Someone I know tried the exposed & developed film.  Worked well for him.
