Merlin
Hi, have made some decals with masks and airbrushing the Valejo Model colour over existing decal to edit the artwork. I now have areas of colour almost 3D, given the amount of paint required to kill the artwork underneath. Now I need to seal the painted parts and try and mellow in the 3D effect of the paint, and also improve on what was a very thin varnish over the original ink anyway. I dont want the varnish I choose to react to any water when I apply the decal, I also dont want it to react to the Valejo. I may well use Klear to go under the decal, . What varnish should I use, hand painted by the way to get the correct edge ! Acrylic or enamel ? Always uneasy over idea of enamel onto acrylic. acrylic went down a few hrs ago and no time to allow for total curing. Merlin
