Italian Typhoon - more shades of grey, anyone?

Tremblers Frightning please Giorgio!

(111 Squadron Lightning if google translate didn't work!)

Edit - as you take such care with the details in your models G, you might want to google about Sword's instrument panels. I seem to have some dim and distant memory of them only having a T4 panel in the kit and the T5's is different. Or it may be the other way around. Or I may be mis-remembering completely (mainly cos such things don't bother Mr Lazy Modeller here in 1/72nd scale.... :) )

I’d forgotten that we’d already talked about a Lightning. ( what day is it?)

111 or 92. Shiny, shiny.

Agreed 200% 111Sqdn

My vote's for 92 - shiny and that lovely blue.

But it is your model and you'll have to look at it! :)

Another vote for shiny! :D

Whichever one you choose to do I am sure that it will be an excellent build.

I do have a soft spot for 111 Sqn schemes, just saying. <_<

Not mis-remembering completely, Keith. But it's, sadly, the other way round: Sword's IP is for a T5, and from a quick search it seems it is totally different from the T4, in terms of shape, instruments and color ....

That really bothers me, even without knowing how much of it will be seen once closed into the fuselage.

Any ideas?

Maybe I'd better start the new thread and see if there's any resident Lightning guru that can shed some light on the matter ....

Ciao
