bar side
Pre shade went on this afternoon, ready for the top coat Started off with the underside & then moving on to the top And the bits together. Canopy hasn’t seen any paint yet, and the tail horizontals, exhaust and wing tip rails are just blutaced in place Quite happy with the progress, touch ups needed and a wash over later will bring up the panel lines a bit
bar side
Paint and build has been progressing quite well. The Paine hasn’t obscured all of that nice panel detail. Might have sanded some off though.... Latest update is that the tail is all on, as are the main wheels. Test fit of the wheel well doors, and trying out the now pained canopy. Remainder of the wheel mechanisms to go on, along with the pitot. Must finish off the seat too

bar side
Cheers @phildagreek been chipping away at it. Going to call the main build & paint about done now. Some bits to touch up and a clear coat needed, then on to decals the seat has some paint but needs more work & some belts
bar side
I uncovered the intake blank to see how it looks in there now. The white has hidden the worst of the poor fit & it looks passable. Will still fit a FOD cover anyway And the main non unit decals are done & drying ahead of another clear coat
bar side
Got a few minutes this morning so the rest of the decals are on Need to let it dry & then get a clear coat over to matt it all down. Then FOD over for the intake, rbf tags. I did see this nice shot of the canopy open with yellow covers over the seat & gun sight. Might save me making seat belts
bar side
Starting on to FOD cover & rbf tags now. Some seat belts too. And another shot with my A model Dutch version
