Sky Keg
Friends, This is the Hasegawa B-26C Marauder. Notable features of this kit are as follows............. 1. Added Scale Aircraft Conversions metal cockpit, nose gear well, and landing gears ( A must for this kit ). Plumbers putty also added around tight spots from the bomb bay forward. 2. Super Scale decals B-26B / C Marauder ( Sheet # 72-717 ) “Miss Manchester” 441st BS, 320 BG / 12th Air Force Italy, 1944 3. EZ-Line radio antenna 4. Eduard canopy / clear parts mask ( another must for this kit ) 5. Weathered : paints, pastels, & washes. Panel lines & movable control surfaces highlighted with pencils. Chipping done with silver paint. As was the case, I discovered AFTER I completed the kit, that the bomb bay should have been silver / unpainted metal instead of the yellow-green primer that I used. The kit does require some prior experience but nothing is far too complicated. Like most WWII bomber kits, a higher degree of patience is required. I hope you like it. Again, my apologies for the picture quality as my photography skills as they are rudimentary at best. Thank you in advance!!!!!!!!!! Respectfully submitted, Mike
Sky Keg
Correction : This particular Marauder is “Belle Ringer” and NOT “Miss Manchester” as I originally posted.

dogsbody
Nice! One observation that I like is that you painted the flattened bottom of the tires. So often you see this area left unpainted. It's a small thing but the unpainted tire area just bothers me. Chris
kapam
Excellent Marauder! I have the Hasegawa kit in my stash but it hasn't reached the front of the queue yet......😬 Your weathering and paint chipping are spot on. Well done.
SoftScience
Really great looking bird. I love the shot with the little friends. Where did you find markings for that cool yellow tailed mustang?

Learstang
Excellent job on this Marauder! I'd love to get the Hasegawa B-26G if I could find one at a reasonable price. I've always thought the Marauder was a very handsome aeroplane with great lines. Regards, Jason
Nikolay Polyakov
Looks great! Superb painting and chipping job. 👍 Cheers! 🙂
Lifeline
Nice build... love the weathering you applied. Care to share why is it a must to use Scale Aircraft Conversions metal cockpit, nose gear well, and landing gears? I also have Hase B-26 and planning to build it as B-26B-15-MA "Our Baby", and SAC sets are a rarity. Cheers, Mario Indonesia
Mark Joyce
Nice build, Mike, and great job on the weathering and paint chipping! Nice job on the 'escort' fighters too. As Jason said, I woulnd't mind picking up the kit if the price was reasonable. Cheers, Mark
Roman Schilhart
Good work, Mike. I agree on the need for Scale Aircraft Conversions metal cockpit, nose gear well, and landing gears. These items add much required weight to the forward section and stability to the undercarriage. Hasegawa's B-26 is not a shake-n-bake it, but you've got a very good result. Greetings from Vienna! Sky Keg
To all : A big THANK YOU from me for the very nice comments regarding this Hasegawa B-26!!!!!! To answer the following questions........ 1. The Mustang and the yellow tail markings is the Academy P-51C kit. The decals came with the kit. I messed up that Mustang and don’t show it off much. 2. What Roman detailed is the reason why I believe having the Scale Aircraft Conversion metal cockpit, gear wells, & struts is a must for this particular kit. There is not enough room inside the nose and cockpit sections to provide enough weight for the Marauder to sit properly and not be the dreaded “tail dragger”. The metal gear struts are better able to handle the increased weight of the metal cockpit. Again, I cannot say “THANK YOU” enough for the kind and generous words!!!! With grateful appreciation, Mike 1
Giangio
Lovely job on the Marauder, not many people build this fantastic bird. I've always wanted to build the 1/48 one from revell/monogram but i'm not sure on how many issues the kit have
