Canadian C-130J-30 'Stretched' Hercules

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Here's my 1/72 Italeri/Wingman C-130J-30 Stretched Hercules operated by the RCAF.  It started out as a Testors/Italeri AC-130a 'Spooky' with a lot of scratchbuilding and modifications. I'm very happy with how it turned out, hope you like ...

I would be very happy as well! That is absolutely stunning, and probably the best Hercules model that I have seen on BM.

I said the exact same thing over at Hyperscale where this is also posted, best 1/72 Hercules kit ever.

Agree, I worked on five different airframes in the CAF/RCAF, including fighters, the Hercules is still my first love. 🙂

Great looking Herc, the subtle weathering is spot on giving it a very realistic appearance... impressive work!

Very impressive, a very nice build and very realistic weathering. It's definitely not easy to make a one color camo scheme look that good!

Thats a beaut,...... I didn`t know that the RCAF had stretched Herks either! Beautiful modelling,..... I intend to get started on an RAF stretched C.3K variant myself soon and you have inspired me,

Cheers

Like what you have done to the windows in the front office.Very neatly painted and the frames are realistically done.
