which glue for a temporary hold of a canopy ?

Hi,

need to tack a canopy into place then remove it later on when I get an open variety.

Which glue should I use that wont damage the aircrafts paintwork etc.

 

Also amazed this forum hasnt got a glue section, as glue is pretty much at the roots of our hobby !

Microscale Kristal Klear.

You can use it for securing the cockpit as will.  Temporary masking and put a couple dots down and it will hold that canopy in place until you’re done.  Easy to remove and I’ve never damaged any paint with it.

I also have found a substance I forgot I had ...ambroid tac and place. Liquid pressure sensitive adhesive temp or permanent joining of plastic wood paper fabric glass foam metal items may be removedand repositioned again and again it says.
