Mitsubishi A6M3 Zero

The third of my Japanese aircraft, an Airfix Mitsubishi Zero. Built OOB with H models decals for an aircraft captured by US Marines in June 1944 on Saipan Island. Tamiya painta nd quick oil wash for panel lines.

Thanks, you can't beat the Airfix starter kits fot value for money and the H Model decals are excellent for use and subject matter.

Great results Neil!!!!!  I`ve never seen a Zero in that type of paint scheme and I like it.  Not only does your`s look great, but it would stand out within a group of Zeros.  Again........very impressive!!!!!

very well done! I love the camo and your build is spotless!

I think too, like @Putty Animal that this is an A6M2. The A6M3, if my deficient memory still works, should have "square" wing tips.

 

But semantics notwithstanding, it is still a great build!
