Renek
I was planning to build two cars out of two kits. One classic Bentley with my accessories, I have a few dozen possible modifications and exchanges for metal parts. The second car ... but what to say to him is the special Henry Birkin's, he has an extended wheelbase, a different body, and was probably the biggest GP of all time. So far, I have postponed the construction of the second model. The building will be with my modifications according to the possibilities of hand tools. The building has been going on for some time, so I will shorten it a bit Basic engine block ... 31pcs in base and color ... The original divorce was cracked in the frame, I drilled the individual parts and replaced the whole tube with brass ... Basic frame assembly, test block installation, tank modifications and a few details ... Rear lamp holder adjustment. Bottom frame assembly with drive shaft. Adjustment of handbrake mechanism and lever itself, all made of duralumin and brass 11
Cooper645
Very nice. A lot of nice little extras going on here. By the looks of it, you will end up with a fantastic model. Best of luck with the rest of the build. I’ll be sure to drop by for the updates.

Hodně štěstí se zbytkem stavby. Budu určitě upustit o aktualizace. Thank you very much .... I'll try what my old eyes will allow me

Renek
It was necessary to make a holder, it works well ... equipped some other parts ... I put some crumbs on it, I do not understand the sense of doing a piece of the kit from three four pieces (see magneta) in order to look like a lump of plastic in the finals. Magneta on the spot + a few details, I removed the funny hints of grinding control, added brass ducts, the control rods are made of polished duralumin + ignition straps Maybe it seems a little ... cabs and pipe production ... The first attempt I invented the tube supply and shake it, drilling 0.8mm hole ... On a few photos, the cables on the candles are not screwed but on "pipes", so I cut the brass tubes and powered them on 0.8 cables. Then it was time to throw everything on the engine I think nerve: lol: From the brass old coin, I made two turbo suction caps and fitted them with a net, although it won't be much visible on the model but the original one was just the one I couldn't let Of course, I made the pressurizer from duralumin fitted with brass micro screws I modified the horny assembly and put it back in steel mesh
Codger
Do not worry about translating - your work speaks for itself. And your clamps and stand are better than my models - ! BRAVO !

Renek
Another approach was to drill holes and make stitches on leaf springs and braid them He had to figure out the connection of the steering column mechanism, although in the manual it is folded but probably not counting with coloring, I reworked the whole system of connection with the crank handle and fitted it with a steel pin, it works great. A few tubes and some real matrix instead of the funny ones, and another plastic tank, which is missing in the kit. Production of roughly 5mm buckles ... original in the kit was missing, I would probably not give them there ... I have virtually finished the entire bottom frame ... I still find more and more inaccuracies in burrs and dividers, when assembling the front axle immediately snapped plastic pegs as a swivel joint and had to replace them with steel ... the whole geometry is so weird, a lot has to be adjusted and finishing I started working on the mudguards and their fitting with the frame ... it is a shock, the carrying rods have unequal profiles, the fenders are not the same and I am seriously thinking that I will not give them there anymore and throw away a few hours I have spent grinding them ... Geometry I repaired by warming the entire axle and changing its shape Test assembly of frame components, paint and varnish
Renek
A few details ... thermal insulation with braid, production of brake drum cooling. I was wondering what their color would be, some of the body-color drums in the photos, and some as bare metal, probably an aluminum alloy. So I kind of mixed the color, the green is already pretty much there Mark details and steering wheel adjustment
Renek
Another adjustment of the protective net of lights .... I was inspired by the building on the net and decided to finish by grinding the indicated net on the clear plastic and adding the net to the real ... for a while, I got stuck when it bursts ... Dashboard adjustments, duralumin instrument frames and deposition tests Production of exhaust holder, again part missing in kit Patina seats, still focus on them, to distinguish colors: construction - gray surf + green + paint, seat - black surf + green + wash, just assembled Petrol tank lid detail Production of girders and other details Assembly of wheels 10

Renek
Since I like the details, I drove out the position seat beams using an aluminum template, made a new one instead of what looks like a hammer - it's some kind of valve, I adjusted the row and I am trying to make some cables, probably win, colored lead wires, are more subtle I made something like a sort of shifter ... so that the stick wasn't just murdered, some wires, color of abrasion ... Modifying additional radiator and oil tank lids ... Ignition magnet rods adjustment

Renek
So the next step, I made a shipping box for competitions and exhibitions. Modifications to the model, since the kit is more than 20 years old, parts are incomplete and damaged, some unnaturally bent. Cooler adjustment, strainer is made of bronze mesh

Renek
Other adjustments are related to the bonnet, made of brass plate and pipe I made a "piano" hinge I made a crossbar (or longitudinal) of a duralumin bonnet, I carved a "l" bracket and riveted a 1mm rivet to the end of the bracket ... it's just rough. Next to it is the original plastic part on which the bonnet was just lying Little Evolution of the Great Shield ... Terrible ... The original frame was in the frame on the bald as well as the two places cracked ... I used a steel mesh and produced a slightly better version than the plexiglass that is the original kit component on the test he assembled the lower frame of the big label ... well ... the plastic holds only the chromes and in addition does not fit the profile, the lower paws bend ... First I tried to grind but then I decided to make the whole lower frame of dural and I will also try to move the upper segments of the frame ... semi-finished. Bottom frame finished and after basic polishing. I even managed the 3D effect of the bottom "paws" where the bolt will be acknowledged. I'm still thinking that I'm gonna get thin ... but the car looks good ... I made my rivets to mount the frame in place, I put down the test with the car as it would look ... I think making the new part was the right decision ... I replaced the original hinges of the bonnet flap with new wire, I think it's a bit better I made other parts for the model, missing in the kit again. Mains suction turbo, material dural Adjusting the interior of the bodywork from 2D to 3D Adjusting wind labels, gradual assembly and machine work Steering wheel adjustment Adjusting the roof overlay to the final variant Details and decals

Renek
I drove out the positions of rivets and bolts on the fenders and went to fit, especially the front ... I got them to the same shape as possible by heating, but those cars did not fit on the car - the brackets and as my colleague prophesied, I was forced to use the front fenders 2mm wire. Now all four are on the right proportions and waiting for the MFH's studs and rivets. Interestingly, at all similar Bentley buildings, no one is burdened by riveting on the mudguards ...
