Eduard kit, in my opinion the best 1/48 kit ever produced(no affiliation to Eduard, or anyone for that matter) Xtradecal decals....

Very nice, great weathering... a well used Spitfire you have there!

I have to agree on Eduard Spitfire kits being the best out there.

Lovely stuff. Nicely weathered spit - it does look like a nice kit. I’ve done the 1/72 version and it was great. Another one for the wish list ☺️

I concur! How did you do them?

Beautiful Spit Owen. The level of weathering looks in keeping with a busy post D-day spitfire - but maybe not on the day.

Cheers

Great Spitfire. Excellent finish.

Might I ask, which Eduard kit did you use, and apart from the decals, was this OOB?

Thanks,

Charlie

Brilliant. It is weathered like the aeroplanes I see in period photos. Those things were covered in grime, the stripes were haphazard, the white was stained...

Superb work. 👍👍
