Wdedig
How about an inexpensive kit built "Out of Box"...This was challenging in its own way but fills my need for a P-47 in D-Day markings. Xtradecal has outfitted a few models for me recently. X72196 has quite a collection of Overlord markings. Are there issues, sure but looks like a P-47 to me. Gun Barrels aren't offset a whole lot, engine is oversimplified(Try seeing though)wheel well details are sparse, interior is non-existant (also try seeing it). Surface detail is nice and construction was about 6 hrs and only a couple of fills need on the fuselage sides. Painted with Vallejo Air Colors and painted on stripes.Uschi powder on the prop spinner boss Should be my last "striped aircraft" for awhile. Thanks for taking a look and feedback is always welcome Cheers Bill

djos
Cheap does not always mean a bad.....and you prove that. Very very nice P-47, and beautiful paintwork. Stripes are TOP! Best regards Djordje Edited April 20, 2019 by djos

Vinnie
Might be a basic kit but you've done it proud.
stevehnz
I like what you've done with that. I've a couple in stock to try different schemes on & as you've shown so well, they're worthy of that in the right hands. Steve.
